Today's round up is at A Year of Reading.
Gorgeous photo and the perfect poem to go with it! Enjoy beautiful Montana!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful word pictures the kids create. I'm especially fond of Sariah's: "Dancing prancing scoobity dee doo./ Throwing a mit, having a fit. Jumping off the wall having a ball./ Spring."
ReplyDeleteThose kids know their state, and it seems they're celebrating it, too. Beautiful words. Happy travels, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the work of these taented kids. I think I like the idea of 'Rabbit-Walking ' the best.
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your birthday vacation! It looks amazing. I hope Jacob is still writing. He is a fresh, thoughtful poet.
ReplyDeleteMust visit Montana! Jacob's poem and your photo have inspired me even more. =)
ReplyDelete"River River clear as can be" --- yes, a gorgeous place and gorgeous words to go with it. Thank you, Doraine! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the e.e. cummings style skips and missing bits in the lines of this piece....with so much meaning and mature thought. What cool piece for a kid to make!
